Tom want to know something surprising? When I ran track in high school, now I am 21, so it wasn't too long ago ;), anyways, when I ran track I was a long distance runner, and they still had us doing those workouts lol.

I actually went for a jog this morning and then finished with a few sprints. We jogged around our local park and then did a few sprints between the goal posts to finish off. I'm naturally a better long distance runner so sprinting is an area I definitely need to work on. And as American Alligator says, it does get VERY exhausting.

This is a similar work out to when I was on the track team in high school. The difference being that we would sprint the straights, and jog the corners. We would also do this for 20 minutes. It is pretty much the same work out! Pretty exhausting afterwards! Good stuff though.
