Dive Bomber Push Ups for Upper Body Strength

I know I write a lot about push-ups but it is because push-ups are one of the top and most effective body weight exercises that you can perform. There are also several variations of the push-up and one that I’d like to touch on today is the one called the “dive bomber push-up.”

Many branches of the military incorporate this push-up in their physical training and it is most commonly seen among Navy SEAL and Army Ranger training. You may even remember Demi Moore performing the dive bomber push-up in the movie G.I. Jane.

This push-up requires good upper body strength and is definitely something to work up to. I think it is a great exercise to add to your interval training work outs if you are looking to add some difficulty.
